Longing To Feel Peaceful? Here Is How

By Chaszey Sandhriel

It is a well-known fact that the Holidays have a tendency to bring out the worst in families. How many times have you heard people say: "So glad it's finally over!"

I'm sure you've heard this before, perhaps you yourself have said the same thing.

No matter how long the bitter aftertaste of dysfunctional holiday gatherings lingers in the air, everyone at the core wants peace. Even that one person who seems to be the cause of all the havoc truly wants peace deep down.

There is more going on than just dysfunction in our lives. Perhaps you have noticed that things have shifted here on planet Earth, not just for you as an individual but for humanity as a whole.

The number of tragedies that has happened to many of my close friends over the past 3 months seems to break a record with relationships having dissolved, couples separating or getting a divorce, people gaining weight or getting sick, the list is endless. It's been a true up and down ride for many people in the world. The reasons for this shift are a multitude. To a large degree our mass consciousness affects all of us, including those of you who do not watch the tube and abstain from reading papers, another big part is simply astrological; these are exiting times for human mankind's evolutionary life journey.

This season is resting on us like a cold blanket, making us go into hibernation, we want to talk less and spoon up more, we want to eat more soup (or eat more all together), and we tend to be more introverted. It's truly a time for reflection, some do it consciously and others do it intuitively. Even the hours of the shining sun has been reduced and the moon's appearance on our sky increased, literally; perhaps you know that the moon is in charge of gravity, the mysteries of life, reaching to the depth of our very souls, she is in charge of the dreams we dream, our intuition and so on. Our moon is responsible for our in-breath, for contraction. She affects our third eye and many other amazing qualities. In balance the sun shines outward and takes charge of our outside personality, and yet the sun is totally in charge to expand our solar plexus, if we would just let it. Our sun represents expansion with every out-breath we give.

For the next few months my encouragement for you is to breathe, to breathe in and out with a deep purpose, with goals in mind and with intention.

The following is a breathing exercise that comes with miracles attached, practice these techniques several times a day, and in particular during those stressful moments.

- Breathe in deeply filling your chest cavity and your stomach with air - Contain your breath for 8 seconds - As you let out your breath, do so as slowly as you can - Breathe in and out seven times

At first you may need to take a breath in between the long breaths as your lungs may not be used to breathing out at such a slow rate. That's fine. Do this exercise first thing when you wake up while you are still in bed (laying down). And do this before you fall asleep (laying down). Do this while driving or waiting in line somewhere, or anywhere as you remember throughout the day.

It is important to remember that are you breathing in the mysteries of life so when you breathe in, make sure your intentions are positive. Your solar plexus opens up just like the sun's rays come to rest upon earth when that cloud moves out of the way. In fact, your solar plexus is a small version of our big sun in our galaxy and it has the same affect on your body and your surroundings as does the sun on Mother Earth. When the sun shines it is a gift of love, a gift of giving, so when you breathe out you are doing the same. Just like the sun warms up our planet when we breathe out we do the same for others. It is essential therefore that we breathe out only love and gratitude for the people and all beings of this planet, always aware that just like the rays of sunshine hit the moon at night, our solar plexus too bounces off its rays to our inner being and thus affects the people around us. Your breath has the capability of giving life and sustaining life. So go out there and breathe, always knowing that your breath has tremendous power, therefore breathe with love and gratitude.

Yes, Folks, Poodle History Lesson

By Rick London

When I first started Londons Times Cartoons in 1997, I founded it with the idea of dogs in mind. Poodles were my favorite, though I'd never owned one. I just have an affection for poodles though I knew very little about their history. I decided after launching my cartoon gift store RickLondoncollection.com, I would add as many of my poodle cartoon products as the page would allow. And then I studied the history of the poodle and got some surprises. You might too.

Though the origins of poodle history are enmeshed in mystery, people started noticing canines that actually resembled the poodle as we see it today. It was, most likely the original water spaniel, known for its hunting skills, particularly bird hunting and retrieving. Oddly enough, it technically should be known as the German Poodle, as that is where it truly originated. With Russian influence it became standardized as a unique breed in France, first, and known as the French Poodle. In Germany it was still known as the pudel; pudel means to "splash in the water". The European breed has a corded coat, rarely seen in the U.S. The standard poodle came first, then the poodle (the most common), and finally the miniature and toy breeds. All have a long and rich history. Though it is not known exactly when the poodle entered the U.S., AKC began registering them in 1886. Only the miniature poodle is in the non-sporting group of this breed. Though many Americans don't use them for hunting, they remain prolific at hunting, with birds being their forte'.

Until this day, in France, Poodles are used for everything from truffle hunting to entertaining the royal court, not to mention duck hunting.

In 1874 Britain imported the first poodle and two years later the Poodle Club Of England was formed. Prior to 1910, in the UK all poodles were shown in the same classes. That was changed then, as the curly and corded breeds were put in separate divisions as were the various size breeds.

The foundations that were developed in England became the cornerstones of the breed in the United States. Precisely when the Poodle was imported to the United States is not known. The American Kennel Club registered its first Poodle in 1886. The Poodle Club of America was originally founded in 1896. Shortly after its establishment it was disbanded, and then reorganized in 1931. The P.C.A. used the Standard and Rules of the Curly Poodle Club of England as its base for establishing the Standard in the U.S. The same Standard now applies to all three sizes of Poodle, the only difference is in the height measurements for each size. The Standard and Miniature Poodle are shown in the Non Sporting Group of the A.K.C., and the Toy Poodle is shown in the Toy Group. The F.C.I. (Federation Cynologique Internationale) recognizes four sizes: the Standard, Miniature, Dwarf and Toy.

Nobody really knows the origin of the poodle though we do know it was in Germany, not France. The Germans called them, and still do, pudles, which means to "splash in water". Poodles were bred to be hunting dogs and remain proficient hunters, though most Americans prefer other breeds for this sport. The poodle was first standardized as a breed in France, hence the French poodle. Later came the regular poodle and even much later the miniature and toy breeds. The AKC began registering poodles in 1886.

In France, Poodles were used for a variety of purposes. There was the Caniche which was a large dog widely used for duck hunting. The Petit Barbet was a Toy size dog that led a pampered and primped style of life in the royal courts. The Truffle dog was used in the search for that flavorful morsel that was used by so many of the French chefs.

In 1874 Britain imported the first poodle and two years later the Poodle Club Of England was formed. Prior to 1910, in the UK all poodles were shown in the same classes. That was changed then, as the curly and corded breeds were put in separate divisions as were the various size breeds.

Good Things To Know About Poodle History

By Rick London

When I launched Londons Times Cartoons, at first, most the images were of dogs. Poodles were and are a favorite. I don't know why. I've never owned a poodle but I never knew that much about them. This year, when I launched RickLondonCollection.com, the gift store that sells the cartoon products, emails started coming in from poodle lovers and owners wanting to see more merchandise with poodle cartoons and I gladly obliged. But I still didn't know the history of the poodle. I decided to learn. This is what I found.

Though the origins of poodle history are enmeshed in mystery, people started noticing canines that actually resembled the poodle as we see it today. Blogging Fundamental Principles

By Zigfred Diaz

As I read through several blogs and several books on blogging, monetizing your site, internet marketing etc., I have observed that majority of bloggers agree on certain fundamental principles that each has seriously followed throughout the years. The said principles are:

1.) It's all about passion - Articles you write in your blog should be something that you are passionate about. Topics that you have somewhat achieved a level of expertise in, topics that puts you on fire, topics that makes your eyes wide open when discussed about, topics that awes and amazes you and opens your mouth wide.

2.) Blog for people - Although search engine optimization is something that should be seriously considered by all bloggers, it should not take precedence over people. Blogs should not be all about keywords, tags or any other gimmick out there in order to make sure that we all each get a higher search engine. What is important that people keep coming back to your site because your post actually helps them or is relevant to them. I believe it was legendary marketer John Chow who said "People First before Google."

3.) Its not how long are your posts, its how many times you post. - What is important about a blog is that it is frequently updated. The length of your post will depend on the topic discussed. It does not matter how long the post are. What is important is how frequently you post.

4.) Just blog - If you are a new blogger, don't worry about your site statistics or that you still do not have comments on your site. Just blog away ! It takes a while for search engines to index your site. Also if you write good posts and you are blogging for people the traffic will just flow.

5.) Bloggers are learners - In order to be a true bloodied blogger, you should not stop learning about how to be more effective in your art. Keep on reading on topics about how to be more effective in blogging, search engine optimization, etc. You stop to blog if you stop to read and learn.

6.) Bloggers are readers - Personally I believe that there is nothing to blog about if you do not read about your passions. You must have an insatiable thirst for learning and a passion to communicate what you have learned to your readers.

7.) Schedule your blogging - Being an organized person, following a structure brings out the best in me. A blog schedule will also ensure that I have more or less an equal number of articles on the categories that I write about. It is my pesonal belief that a blogging schedule will somehow force you to think of something to blog about. This may not work well for others as they just write on whatever stuff comes into their mind. But for me this is how I do it.

8.) Be personal - Your readers must feel as if you are personally speaking with them. The words you use should not be too complicated that your readers will have to search a dictionary before they could comprehend what you are trying to tell them. Write in layman's term as much as possible, no matter how complicated the subject matter is. Be funny if you must.

9.) Aim for the best ! - Aiming for the best does not only apply in school or at work, it very much well applies when it comes to blogging. Among other things, you must go over and edit your posts. You must make sure your presentation and layout are user friendly and not an eye sore.

10.) Blog for life - Don't view blogging as something that you are temporarily doing just because you don't have anything to do as of now or something which you do in order to achieve a certain amount of money and afterwards you will then stop blogging since you have already achieved your goal. Plan to blog for life. Blogging may bring you monetary "blessings." However always consider that such is only secondary. As you go about your day to day experience, having an attitude of blogging for life will make you further appreciate such experiences since you will looking forward to writing it to on your next posts.

Transparent Lingerie--why Try It?

By Lulu Dallas

Before the Industrial Revolution the vast majority of Europeans and Americans wore underwear made from WOOL. Fortunately for us, the Industrial Revolution brought the gift of inexpensive cotton cloth to the masses in the early nineteenth century, and since then undergarments have come a long way-particularly for women. The evolution of women's lingerie has passed through several phases of long drawers, corsets, underskirts and eventually bras to become the attractive easy-to-wear items of today.

Lingerie, the French word for underclothing, now serves a broader purpose than just protecting clothing. Women wear it to feel good and look better in their clothes. Many of today's fashions demand transparent lingerie that does not leave lines or visible seams that ruin the line of clothing. Bras now have smooth molded cups for a natural look. Thongs and sheer seamless panties become invisible under clingy pants, dresses and skirts.

Lingerie is more than just bras, panties, and slips. Night gowns, robes, teddies, slips, stockings, garter belts, waist cinchers, and corsets all fall into the category of lingerie. For many women the idea of buying risqu items may be appealing, but they are reluctant to purchases sexy lingerie in stores. Buying high-quality seductive lingerie from on-line shops is easy and offers more sizes, styles, and options. Plus-size lingerie is now available in feminine and attractive styles to fit curvy figures. Good-fitting lingerie will make women look good and feel good about themselves.

For weddings and holidays lingerie makes a perfect gift. Presents of lingerie are romantic and intimate. Sexy, risqu or transparent lingerie appeals to both men and women and it adds some sizzle to couples' love life. To find styles and sizes that will suit the woman in your life do a little research. Many companies offer moderately-priced, high-quality items. With a little time and care you can find the perfect gift.

Wealthy Affiliate Not Just Another Im Forum

By M Romeo

If you're looking for a great internet marketing forum. One with heart, one that will appeal to the experienced and newbies alike, Wealthy Affiliate is a good choice. I've been a member for over a year, and have found that Wealthy Affiliate is unlike most other internet marketing forums for a number of reasons.

The core of Wealthy Affiliate is it's forum. It's quite an active forum dealing with many aspects of affiliate marketing. There are usually a few hundred posts a day, and often at least 5-10 topics that get very deep and detailed.

Like all forums, the core is people who post regularly. There are plenty of posters, newbies and experts alike who post daily. There is Kyle and Carson who run the board, as well as Travis Sago of Bum Marketing. Plus a plethora of other posters like TerryB, HughDP, Thadroe and DaveB who always provide excellent insight into affiliate marketing.

Wealthy Affiliate started up as mainly a forum, but has since changed into something else. A complete internet marketing workshop. One of the new features that has been added in the past year, is that Wealthy Affiliate now offers free hosting for any of your websites.

Site Rubix was announced just a few short months ago, and it truly was amazing. It was a free tool that allows you to quickly and easily create a website using simple drag and drop interfaces. It's not necessary to learn any programming languages, HTML, PHP, ASP or anything of the sort. Combined with the free web hosting, Site Rubix offers a complete internet marketing suite.

There are also video tutorials, an 8 week course, although it was only a six week course when I first joined. Tutorials for all levels of knowledge.

One very interesting twist was their $500 challenge section. There was a contest where members were invited to post any of their ideas, strategies or inventions to find the best and brightest internet marketing ideas, in exchange for a grand prize of $500. If you join the board, you should definitely look here.

Kyle and Carson, the founders of Wealthy Affiliate also offer one on one tutoring. In the form of private messages on the forum. You can message them, and within 24 hours they will respond to any question you might have. I've personally found the ability to run a campaign by a seasoned internet marketing pro to be very beneficial. In more than one instance, with the help of Carson I've resurrected a bad campaign, and turned it into a profitable one.

Video tutorials, web hosting, site creation, helpful forum, and one on one coaching with the founders. Wealthy Affiliate offers a ton of helpful content for anyone looking to succeed in Internet Marketing.

To import a car from Japan may sound too hard to perform, but in reality it is not. And there are thousands of people who do just that, some of them on a regular basis! In case you are curious about benefits of importing a car from Japan, here are a few of them:

1. Wide Selection of Choices Available

Whether you are in the US, Australia or Canada, you may be limited by the small selection of car models back home. This is quite unlike the situation in Japan. Everyday, dozens of car auctions take place. Thousands of cars, both vintage and the latest makes are displayed for sale. It is only in such places that you can import a car from Japan and for that matter, a unique and rare model at times.

2. Rock Bottom Prices

Definitely, the main reason why people import cars from Japan is an unbelievably low price. Yes, it is much cheaper than if you bought the same car locally. Of course, the price of the car itself is not the final price you pay - the process of importing a car from Japan involves a lot of additional expenses. But in most cases, even if the final amount is more than a double of the car's price, the purchase is still a good value for your money.

3. Excellent Quality & High Performance

Talking about quality, Japanese cars are one of the finest you can find. Known to be passionate about delivery of quality, high performance vehicles, car manufacturers make sure every single cent you spent is well spent. The same can be said about the used cars you are importing. They are often in good working condition with low mileage.

4. Self-esteem Booster

A beautiful Jap car is an image icon. Young hot-blooded males would gladly drive the latest GTR to pick up their girlfriends. Even the respectable businessman can find a choice SUV to import. And the best part is, no one knows it costs you so little!

5. Profit Making

How To Choose Valentine's Day Lingerie

By Lulu Dallas

Sexy lingerie and the excitement it brings to relationships is a great gift for men and women. As Valentine's Day, the next holiday, approaches it's time to start thinking about purchasing your next gift. Lingerie is a great gift for the woman in your life. Here are some guidelines for choosing lingerie styles, sizes and fabrics.

Check the sizes of bras and clothing when your wife or girlfriend is not looking. Size is a tricky subject. Items that are too small may flatter her ego but they won't achieve the effect either of you hope for. Buying lingerie too large may be offensive. That's a trap you don't want to accidentally step into.

Personality counts so consider your significant other's likes and dislikes when choosing a style and color. Traditionally, Valentine's Day is represented by shades of red and pink; however, a woman who generally steers away from bright or 'girly' colors may prefer black. Particularly feminine women may enjoy floral prints and other pastels. Lingerie comes in a variety of fabrics. Silk, satin, chiffon, and lace are all attractive choices. A bit of stretch makes lingerie more comfortable. Above all avoid being cheap. If it looks and feels like it came from K-Mart keep shopping.

Lingerie comes in flattering styles for every body type and the average woman is somewhat self-conscious about her body. Flirty baby doll night gowns flatter almost everyone as do waist cinchers, corsets and garter belts. A fuller-busted woman may prefer a little support in the top. Smaller busts are flattered by push-up and padded bras.

Finding the perfect lingerie gift will be challenging if you limit your search to local department stores. Try on-line stores for more variety in styles and sizes. Use the company's size chart. Read company reviews and review shipping and return policies as you would with any merchant.

Keeping A Clean Drain

By Eric Slarkowski

You must be careful about certain things, which must not go down your sink anyhow. The truth is that there is some stuff that goes down the drain but it must be that way only if you could clean it out. The sink will get clogged up if you do not keep it clean. Part of being a homeowner is to maintain the sink as well as the line. Reviewing the basics is always better and you must learn about the fact that the types of things people allow in their lines and sinks purposely.

Take a look at this list that will tell you about the don'ts of washing wrong thing as well as not keeping a clean drain.

Food: If you have a garbage disposal, then only rinse the foods down the sink. Such things include pasta shells, peelings from any fruit or vegetables, breads or butter, popcorn kernels etc. for the outside drainage these types of things can make a plug between the line and your sink. In terms of clogging a line breads and butter are truly bad as it makes a gooey mixture as well as clings to the bottom of the line and also to the sides.

Detergents: The only thing that you must put in your sink is the dish washing liquid that is absolutely made for the sink usage. Some other kinds of detergents that are made for the car washings or for the dishwashers and equipment will clog your sink especially when you use it in a large quantity.

Pesticides: Take care not to empty toxic pesticides in your sink. Water makes them congeal and form hard blocks in the sink line. As a result the lines corrode and cause leaks.

Calcium Chlorate and Lime: People those who are on the septic systems often put a lot of calcium chlorate down their sinks as a method to fight the odor. Some products truly consist of such substances but especially for the sink usage they are formulated. Lime and calcium chlorate bags will cause a plug that will not only form on the sink gooseneck but also further down the line.

Outside Oils: Never allow down the sink any cleaning or mechanical oils. The top two on the list are the motor oil and the lubricating oils for hinges or joints.

Inside Oils: The sink lines will never appreciate if they have liquid eyeliners, chunks of oil based soaps that are shoved down the drains, baby oils, very oily based bottles of moisturizing oils etc.

Another thing that stops your drain is hair. On all your drains use a hair trap so that your lines are not stopped anymore. Conduct monthly hair sweep too and also clean out all the drains in your house including your kitchen drain as well.

Pour a trustworthy drain cleaner down your lines each month so that you don't have to face any more blocked drains.

Muscle Building Tips - Don't Start Pumping Without Reading These!

By Hanson Habnor

One of the basic principle of muscle building is simply to eat more calories than you burn. Thus you should always strive to give more than sufficient amount of calories for your body. This amount is approximately 17 to 20 times your body weight and you should alter it accordingly based on your metabolism rate, activity level and goals.

What are the the right type of calories that you should strive to eat? They are the calories from these 3 food groups. First is the High Quality Protein, second is the High Fiber and Low Glycemic Carbohydrates and third one is the Healthy Unsaturated Fats group. Ideall, you should consume food from these categories at least 5 to 7 times a day.

Drink more water. A slightly dehydrated body will have a significant impact on your strength and performance level. Even a 3-4% decrease in your water level will lead to a 10-20% decrease in your muscle contractions. To find out how much water is enough for you, simply multiply your bodyweight by 0.6.

Get a journal or a notebook and record every detail of your workout session. Yes, this sounds tedious however this technique is crucial to your muscle-building efforts. The underlying principle behind your weight gaining success is progression. And the only way that you can monitor that is via your logbook.

Be prepared to train harder than before! Training harder in this context means that you put in your maximum effort for every set of repetitions you are working on. This also means that you have to stretch yourself until you cannot do a single more rep despite all the energy that you put in. This technique is called the concentric muscular failure.

Don't over train and waste all your muscle gaining efforts. Some of you may be inclined to start hitting the gym every single day. This can prove to be detrimental as your body may not have enough recovery period. Instead, focus on training hard every week in the gym. Push yourself to concentric muscular failure on every exercise.

Don't over-emphasize on your diet supplements. Supplements are there not to do the work for you. They are just supplements that will fill in the missing gaps in your system and slightly speed up your progress. However, the one who is building your muscle is you and that is who you need to focus on.

Application and consistency is everything. You can read dozens of muscle magazines and books but theory is not enough. You have to apply and implement the knowledge on a continual and systematic basis. Your muscle building success is a big result of the many small steps. It's a cumulative effort and persistence is the key.

CNC Equipment - Used For Manufacturing And Woodworking

By Greg Hansward

In various industrial settings and woodworking shops CNC machines are used. For personal use nearly all are out of the price range. But it can be purchased second-hand for about half the cost. When doing large jobs or repetitive tasks these machines are just perfect in case of speed and accuracy.

Usability

In various industrial settings, manufacturing processes and woodworking shops CNC equipment is used. To drill holes CNC routers are used. A number of machines have the capacity of holding several apparatus. Thus at a time they make more than one function and save time and offer accurateness.

Computer Numerated Control is the full name of CNC. In the 1970s this technology was introduced. Before operation the machines require to be programmed and arranged appropriately. When the primary set up is finished, they are quite easy to activate and go on operation.

CNC routers can be arranged to drill holes in an automatic manner. In comparison to manual drilling this is faster and more perfect over a number of pieces and the outcome is more consistent. For larger jobs this technique is very helpful where a lot of drilling is required. Physical drilling can become exhausting and when the machinist becomes tired, the outcome can become conflicting.

Various types

For cutting wood a CNC lathe is an excellent piece of apparatus. Different ranges from 15 to 40 horsepower of different models can be found in the market. You will use the amount of power according to the amount of wood you will be using with the lathe machine. Top quality models operate in several different modes, from entirely manual to all CNC lathe and lets you tailor the machine's operations for every function.

In milling technology a Bridgeport mill is the top. In many industries both large and small shops, mills are used. These are proficient and dependable. They are built to last a life span though they are very costly. It is so out of range that most people cannot afford a milling machine.

In milling technology the CNC mill is a specialty piece of apparatus. To provide accurate function it uses computer programming and robotics and the results are more perfect than any individual could ever do. Thus, Bridgeport mills are often used in the airline engineering. Once you enter the specs, it's up to the CNC to decide the particular tools that will be needed and it will also change the tools automatically when needed.

If you want a better option, you should look for renovated apparatus. Machines that are inspected at the factory, replaced if any part is broken. The machine is also painted and new decals are even applied in many cases. Thus you can get a new machine in a much low-cost. Also you may get a one year warranty with repaired apparatus which will make you sure that it is functioning accurately and if not, you will have it fixed at no cost.

Coffee Machines - Experimenting With Different Flavors

By Jack Blacksmith

It is often said that coffee addicts always drink there coffee straight. However, most of the times this is not the case as coffee has more blends and flavoring than wine. So, cast off all your confines and enjoy nature's gift with 101 different ways.

All one cup coffee makers and coffee machines seem to have an inexhaustible amount of creativity. One particular blender had made a unique Indonesian blend by combining Sumatran and Papua New Guinea beans. From this unique blend, not only do we get to know that the blend is a delicious full body brew, but also that coffee was grown in Papua New Guinea.

Out of all the Indonesian coffee beans, the Sumatran coffee beans can be used for making many different kinds of blends. Making a fifty-fifty mixture of Sumatran coffee beans and Columbian Patron can make a perfect blend. This blend is a tasty, smoky dark roast that results in a perfect blend.

Another exciting treat about coffee blends are their flavorings. By adding different flavors like vanilla, almond and cherry to Brazilian coffee, you can easily sweeten the brew and soften the acid present in it. You can even bring an ordinary cup of coffee to the level of a decent cup by just adding a banana or hazelnut flavoring. One truly international breakthrough is the Tahitian vanilla latte.

If you are making the Mocha then you will have a wide variety of chocolates to match the flavor of the coffee bean. You can easily enhance a foreign blend by adding melted dark chocolate and stirring it well in the Yemeni. You can try out an American roast with a bit of Ghiradelli milk chocolate on those when you would prefer a lighter coffee.

Coffee is quite a delightful drink because there are endless variations of what you can do with it. These variations are not limited to just the beans, flavorings or roast. You can also use different kinds of liqueur and liquor to spice up your cup of coffee.

You can add desert pears, brown sugar and a hearty helping of rum to a full-bodied Jamaican that can serve as a solid base. To make things more interesting you can add apricots in place of pears and brandy in place of rum. For those who like getting intoxicated and stay sober with the same drink, the Amaretto's sweetness makes a delicious counterpoint to the Costa Rican blend.

One traditional favorite of those who like their coffee cut are cocoa and coffee. However, this doesn't mean that you will have limited choices. Mexican coffee and cocoa beans can be partnered up and make a delightful treat for summer or winter. No matter how you take it, hot or cold, it is always a tasty treat to have.

Most trendsetters of coffee confection don't stop there and often tend to go an extra mile. One coffee drink that has been served by the daring innovators is the frozen cappuccino. On a warm day the frozen cappuccino will wake any sleepy head. If you want to spice up your coffee then just add chocolate mint flavoring to it.

A poor quality bean can often be understood with the nutty flavor that is present in it. However, you can be a bit of an adventurer and try the Macadamia coffee. You can try it with or without chocolate. There have been many instances where raspberry and coconut additions have also been tried but it is always better to work up to it mainly because your cup of Joe should still taste like coffee.

In the end don't start complaining about your regular cup of Joe. When you leave the world of purism, there are always certain risks that come with it.

Specific Air Movement Classifications

By Clinton Maxwell

Earth's Rotation Causes Circular Weather Effects

Over the centuries, as man has observed and studied climate conditions so critical to life, a number of weather effects have been observed, isolated and classified. All of these effects have their foundation on such basics as the sun's heat, moving air masses in the atmosphere and the level of water vapor in certain areas at a particular time. In most cases, the uneven or inconsistent heating of air creates a very complex series of wind strengths and direction.

Meteorologists and observers have established some classifications for certain aspects of the changing weather we experience. At present the list includes three significant types of air circulation that are based on the heat of the sun. One of these categories is the Hadley cell, so named because scientist George Hadley was instrumental in isolating and classifying them. This term is applied to air circulation in or very near the tropical regions of the Earth.

Simply stated, a Hadley cell occurs when tropical air (23.5 degrees north and south of the equator) is heated by the sun and begins to rise. This warm air mass spreads, encounters a barrier often called the tropopause, and sinks back to the ground. Generally, the falling air mass touches the Earth at about 30 degrees of latitude, north and south of the equator. As it sinks to the ground, the moving air mass displaces air at the surface. The air mass that moves out flows toward the equator, completing a cycle that can cause weather changes over a large region of the globe. When the same type of circulation occurs at latitudes farther north (30 to 60 degrees) they are known as Ferrel cells. Similar movement of air masses at the poles are called polar Hadley cells.

One of the interesting features of cells such as these is that they do not move in straight lines, north and south. Because the Earth is a planet rotating around the sun and rotating on its axis at the same time, moving air masses experience the Coriolis effect. This is not limited to air movement, however. All free-moving objects and fluids have a "right turn" motion north of the equator and a "left turn" motion south of the equator. Gustave-Gaspard de Coriolis is credited with first identifying this trait nearly 200 years ago.

What does this mean for air movement? The Coriolis effect deflects an air mass, creating what some have called a cyclonic flow. This circular movement applies to air around areas of low pressure, causing large air masses to turn clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere and counter-clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere. But that's not all. When the air is flowing around a high pressure system, the circular movement is just the opposite! Without the rotation of the earth, air masses would move quickly in a straight line, rapidly equalizing pressure.

There is one place on Earth where the Coriolis effect does not impact air movement – the equator. Because of this cyclones are not part of the regular experience in life at the equator. Conversely, the Coriolis effect is strongest at the Earth's poles.

Getting a Home Improvement Loan with Past Bad Credit

By Leroy Calstard

Because the money you spend on home improvement usually translates directly into a bigger asking price for your home when you go to sell it, banks are usually amenable to making loans for home improvement. No one wants to lend money that he or she will never see a return on, but home improvement tends to be a good investment. Not only will you be able to reap the benefits of your renovations while you own your home, but you will also be able to raise the value of your house, so you can cash out more when you sell it.

When most people buy their first house, there are some home improvements to be made. Perhaps you know what the house needs as far as renovations when you buy the house and perhaps you do not. Who wants to buy a house with a leaky roof or bad plumbing? But then again, if you can get a great deal on a home, then it might be worth the money that you foresee putting into it down the line. However, remodeling a home takes cash upfront because you must pay your contractors and builders and designers. How do you come up with all that money? One great way to do it is to apply for a loan. Before giving you a loan, banks take all kinds of precautions. The first is that they must prove that you own your home. You cannot take out a home improvement loan if you are just renting. Second, they must prove how much you own your home. Many loans demand that you have equity of twenty percent or more.

When securing a loan, you must tell the bank in detail what you plan on doing to your house. Installing a hot tub or spa does not qualify you for a home improvement loan, because these are considered luxuries. However remodeling your kitchen or bathroom will probably qualify you. Any sure, renovation investment will be likely to secure your loan. These home improvement loans are typically low interest, and you might have ten to fifteen years to pay them off. These loose parameters help homeowners rehabilitate their houses without all the stress of having to come up with the money.

There are a few different types of home improvement loans. If you have good credit and a practical idea for renovating your house, then apply for a Traditional Home Improvement loan. Before you decide on a loaner, compare programs in your area. You want to find the one best suited to your financial needs. The other kind of loan is a government loan, otherwise known as an FHA Title I Home Improvement Loan. This is a good loan for homeowners that may have had credit problems in the past. As long as they demonstrate good credit of late, they can probably secure this loan. Another advantage to this loan is that the homeowner is not required by law to have a certain percentage of equity in the home.

Can I Get the Same Results Using EMS Instead of Weight Lifting?

By Amy Nutt

Electrical muscle stimulation or EMS is an exercise aid that uses very mild electrical current to cause your muscles to contract, under the auspices of increasing tone and fitness. Historically, EMS has been used in medical situations to help relieve muscle pain. For several years now, EMS devices have been available commercially to the general public as supplements to an exercise program.

While many manufacturers claim that EMS systems will cause people who lead a sedentary lifestyle to get into shape, there actual effectiveness is a subject of debate.

In 2002 the American Council on Exercise, a nonprofit fitness advocate, published a study on EMS in its magazine. According to the study, the type of EMS used by manufactures of abdominal exercise belts was ineffective, time consuming and often painful.

This led to injunctions against the makers of certain EMS products for false and misleading advertisements. The manufacturers were claiming their products would lead to a loss in body fat and an increase in muscle tone, helping people achieve ideal "six-pack" abs. During the study, subjects underwent EMS "training," according to the guidelines of the products' manufacturer for eight weeks. The subjects did not lose any body fat or gain any muscle strength from using EMS alone. The researchers who conducted the study implied that EMS had no intrinsic value and could not serve as a replacement for weight training and other conventional forms of exercise.

That said, EMS does have its proponents. Olympic sprinting coach Charlie Francis published an article in Testosterone magazine about the history and benefits of EMS.

He recommends EMS as a supplement to a weight-lifting and exercise program, citing its effectiveness in conjunction with conventional exercise.

Francis said he encourages athletes to use EMS as a low-intensity exercise to help them increase circulation and recover form their more intense, regular exercise routines. He also recommended EMS as a way for bodybuilders to increase muscle density or burn off a tiny layer of fat before an exhibition.

However, Charlie Francis explicitly says EMS alone will not lead to the same results as a conventional exercise and weight lifting program. He says that EMS has use as a training device and for muscle rehabilitation, but that the idea that one can use EMS in place of good, old-fashioned weight lifting, running, calisthenics and other forms of resistance training and gain a rock hard, weight-lifter's body does not make sense.

So, we can now see that the value of EMS is a subject of discussion and research. Many people believe EMS machines are dangerous and not very useful, a scam promising to make sedentary couch potatoes think they can get fit without moving. Others see EMS as a medical technology appropriate for rehabilitation or a fitness technology useful for professional athletes, bodybuilders and hardcore fitness buffs.

Whatever the uses of EMS may be, it seems that the experts can agree on one thing. Using EMS alone is not a replacement for weight-lifting. If you're considering spending hundreds of dollars on an EMS machine, your money might be better spent on a gym membership or a nice set of weights.

The Best Workout to Burn Fat

By PeterM

To help you understand that, I want to elaborate on two methods that people traditionally employ to burn fat. If you want to burn body fat, and do so quickly, there's a very specific type of workout that will aid you in that process. Then, I will show you how to combine both of those to get the best workout to burn fat.

The idea is they maintain their energy and carbohydrates in the body by working for a long period, First, many people who try to lose fat when working out, do so with a low intensity cardio approach, for less intense periods of time.

The idea is to burn more calories than they consume, thus losing body fat. This way the calories they burn will mostly come from body fat, and not from carbohydrates. However, there are some limitations to this method is stop it from being the best workout to burn fat.

The fact of the matter is that if you worked out intensely, you will burn more calories.Other people swear by a high intensity cardio workout. The only drawback is that it can be painful and can push it to your limits, which is why a lot of people will shy away from it.

You can work within the proper intensity levels to reach the maximum calorie burning,Without burning yourself out. However, with a smart approach to monitoring your intensity levels,

Thus wait loss will be slower, and also take out free time today. Each workout in itself has its own benefits and limitations. For example, a low intensity cardio workout session will simply take a lot more time.

The high intensity approach can be more tiring, and takes a bit more of effort to work out at a high intensity of the time. So what is the best workout to burn fat? The best workout to burn fat is a combination of the two. It is possible to combine the two in each workout.

Start with a low intensity approach for the first 10 to 15 minutes of exercise. Then, take the next 15 minutes to push yourself really hard, and experience a high intensity cardio workout. Now spend the last 20 to 30 minutes of your workout with low intensity cardio exercises. You now have worked out for an hour, and have combined both low intensity and high-intensity cardio exercises to burn fat. For many people, this is the best workout to burn fat.

Homer Simpson and His Deep, Deep Thoughts.

By Aazdak Alisimo

There is little doubt that the sayings of Homer Simpson have become food for fodder and deep thought in today's pop culture. I am not sure what that says about us, but a religion based on his weekly humor can't be far off. Here are a few choice samples:

Well, it's 1 a.m. Better go home and spend some quality time with the kids.

You know, boys, a nuclear reactor is a lot like a woman. You just have to read the manual and press the right buttons.

Marge, don't discourage the boy! Weaseling out of things is important to learn. It's what separates us from the animals! Except the weasel.

When will I learn? The answer to life's problems aren't at the bottom of a bottle, they're on TV!

Lisa, if the Bible has taught us nothing else, and it hasn't, it's that girls should stick to girls sports, such as hot oil wrestling and foxy boxing and such and such.

It's not easy to juggle a pregnant wife and a troubled child, but somehow I managed to fit in eight hours of TV a day.

How is education supposed to make me feel smarter? Besides, every time I learn something new, it pushes some old stuff out of my brain. Remember when I took that home winemaking course, and I forgot how to drive?

Kill my boss? Do I dare live out the American dream?

Beer: The cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems.

America's health care system is second only to Japan, Canada, Sweden, Great Britain, well...all of Europe. But you can thank your lucky stars we don't live in Paraguay!

Who are you? Why am I here? I want answers now or I want them eventually!

You can't go wrong with cocktail weenies. They look as good as they taste. And they come in this delicious red sauce. It looks like ketchup, it tastes like ketchup, but brother, it ain't ketchup!

Now what is a wedding? Well, Webster's dictionary describes a wedding as the process of removing weeds from one's garden.

Son, a woman is a lot like a... a refrigerator! They're about six feet tall, 300 pounds. They make ice, and... um... Oh, wait a minute. Actually, a woman is more like a beer.

We'll die together, like a father and son should.

Steroids and Your Blood (Part 1)

By Mick Hart

Even a weight trainer engaged in heavy lifting will return out of the norm results even with no use of anabolic steroids. Now we all know the liver is one of the most important organs in the body Duh! - they all are! Detoxification, numerous processes involved in the conversion of food for energy, growth and repair.

The secretions aid fat digestion producing high density lipoprotein Cholesterol (HDL-C) and destroying the undesirable low density lipoprotein Cholesterol (LDL-C). Did you know that even when we are resting, that our liver receives about 30% of our blood supply? You have a good look at the meat counter the next time you go to the supermarket.

Liver function tests actually detect enzyme levels (biological catalyst, want to know more? - go do a biochemistry course). A weight trainer's intense workouts will break down large amounts of skeletal muscle cells (if you've been working out properly anyway).

Not only this but also intra muscular injections will reveal that test results are misleading. So what exact information does our Doctor need for us to get the correct medical advice that will help to make our muscles bigger? The actual tests themselves include a number of enzyme markers but I would like to pay most attention to the ones relevant to bodybuilders.

All of the following are parameters measured in a full blood haematology profile, I include it here for completeness sake, but in reality only a few of the indices are of interest to us as weight trainers.

Haemoglobin: Let's take a look at the quantity of major blood protein of red blood cells and we certainly don't want a low count test result as this would imply that you have anaemia. The more likely causes are unbalanced diet and or deficiency of Vit B12 and folic acid in the blood. But no sweat, this is easily put right with a nice helping of liver or spinach.

Red cells: weird one, measures the amount of red cells in a given volume of blood. These are produced by the bone marrow and survive for around 3 weeks, certain toxins namely alcohol can result in larger than normal cells (macrocytosis) - problem if you're trying to squeeze the fat arse cells through small capillaries!

HCT ratio PCV (haematocrit ratio, packed cell volume / MCH (mean corpuscular haemoglobin / MCHC (mean corpuscular haemoglobin concentrations) - are all red cell indices describing the shape and content of red blood cells.

ESR (erythrocyte sedimentation rate) shows us the state of a patient's health. The rate can be compromised by infection through certain medications that are prescribed which weaken the immune system. Another cause for a high test rate could be through the cause of an inflammatory condition.

Platelets; represents the average number in a given volume of blood, and are essential for helping blood to clot (a low count could lead to bruising or prolonged bleeding from a wound). Use of Aspirin in an ECA stack can also exacerbate this!

White cell count can indicate viral or bacterial infection as this test result would rise with an infection as white cells increase and produce antibodies to combat infection (this is also a good reason to have good muscle mass - where did you think the protein to synthesis antibodies came from?)

The above tests are not normally looked at in the GP's consulting room, unless specific problems have been encountered. The following test parameters are the ones that are usual to weight trainers but sound alarm bells to any consulting Doctor interpreting the results, not used to having a 200lb plus muscle monster in front of him. (Don't miss part 2).
